Finally found the SuperTrapp advertisement for their muffler. Claimed Rear wheel HP stock peaks at 58 MPH (no gear stated) 26 HP and with a ST and 8 discs is peak is 59/60 MPH and 30 rear wheel HP. They show a top speed of 75 stock and 78 with the ST. NO date but the picture is of a light colored bike (so probably one of the yellow 96's) but the run could have been made with a 4 speed 86-88 model. Also their speed would be corrected on the dyno rollers, not what the speedo shows. They have a web site it is http://www.supertrapp.com.. BTW 8 discs in my ST was loud, may be what you want, I also felt the low end suffered, but the graph doesn't support that. Must have been a 4 speed as the show the run starting at 22 MPH stock, 25 MPH with ST an that would be too slow for mine in 5th. All it would change is the top speed numbers with the 5th gear with longer engine life and better fuel economy at normal cruise speeds. Again I am a big guy (over 250 lbs and it hauls me around just fine and will scoot of an intersection and I have a slighly larger rear tire which normally slows acceleration some. I have a larger inner diameter headpipe (highway hawk dragpipe cut off at the supposed baffle point) and 1/2 a HD set of stock glasspacs on. It made a difference in mine and seems to have lowered the mileage some, but maybe I'm cranking it on harder as I love the sound now. Still going on reserve about 105 miles indicated which would probably be close to 110-115 with the smaller rear tire. Also saw another set of numbers in one of my FSSNOC Thumper News newsletters but wasn't anything that isn't shown already. Nax
